James F. “Jim” Boyd 76 Willow Hill, IL died Thursday 14, 2000 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. Jim was born on March 29, 1924 in Willow Hill Township, Jasper County, Illinois. He was the son of Aaron & Rosa (Hart) Boyd. On October 22, 1983 he married Norma Arthur. He was a construction worker with Labor Union #1280 Robinson retiring in 1987. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church Oblong and attended the Willow Hill United Methodist Church. He loved to work in his garden and fish.

Jim is survived by his wife Norma; 3 sons Bradly, James E. & Karen and James C. Dull; 2 daughters Twilla Harvey and Carol Hyde Whyte; 8 Grandchildren William Shane Whyte, Eric Joseph Verbonic, Chase James Dull, Tanna & John Tardif, Norma Lee Ann & David Weir, Kimberly A. Dull, Stacy L. Dull and Kortney Adams; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother & Sister-In-Law Otto & Judy Boyd, Sisters & Brothers-In-Law Ester Gordon, Bernadine & Wesley Jones and Hazel & Cleon Culp; Brother-In-Law Martin Culp. Several nieces, nephews, special friend Max Nave and several good friends and neighbors also survive him. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Louis, Eugene & Robert; and 1 sister Irene Culp.

Burial is in Mound Cemetery rural Jasper County, Illinois.
